ATI’s Electrician Training Program
Not all education programs are created equal. At the Advanced Training Institute, (ATI) the Electrician Training Program offers comprehensive course work as well as practical, hands-on training in the field. With electrical technicians constantly in demand, there has never been a better time to start a career in this field. Though some schools may offer training programs that are quick and cheap, ATI provides the necessary training in less than a year through a combination of classroom and hands-on training from experienced instructors in the field.
Electricians are necessary to uphold the infrastructure of the nation. Without those certified electrical workers, there would be nowhere to turn when the power was out, and most of America would be left scratching their heads. Not only is training necessary to provide and maintain power to residential homes, but electricians also work on some of the largest motors in existence in industrial or commercial settings. Without certified electrical technicians the installation, maintenance, repair, or replacement of even the least complex electrical system would be a challenge. The variety of tasks and environments that electricians work in make it so there is rarely a boring or repetitive day on the job.
After roughly nine months of training, ATI graduates will be prepared to work in multiple environments, and can choose whichever they are most comfortable in to focus their career on. ATI graduates will be able to choose the direction of their career, as they will be experienced in NEC electrical code, conduit bending, wiring installation, manual and automatic industrial controls, as well as motors and transfer systems. This well-rounded training is what makes the electrician training program at ATI so valuable. The variety of instruction allows students to gauge what aspects of the profession they enjoy, and which parts they do not necessarily care for. This process lets students figure out what they want to focus on in their career.
Careers in electricity are not going to go away anytime soon. Electricity is the most widely used form of energy nationwide. The nature of the profession allows electricians to travel to their work, making it a valuable learning experience both professionally and personally. Through the Electrician Training Program at ATI, students can be on their way to an exciting new career in which they will learn and have fun while still making a living. Electrical techs will be in demand for a long time to come which is why there is no better time than now to start your schooling at ATI!
